On Friday, September 28, 2007 friends and supporters of Second Chance will gather with our program alumni at the NTC Promenade to recognize the outstanding individuals who have graduated from our programs, created self-sufficient lives and given back to the San Diego community.

Funds raised from our Profiles of Success event will help our agency continue to provide successful programs for the homeless, former prisoners, at-risk youth and those living in extreme poverty in 2007. We will serve over 4,500 total clients this year and will graduate 500 clients from the nationally-recognized STRIVE job readiness program. STRIVE continues to achieve unparalleled results in assisting the homeless and unemployed in our region, with more than 80% of our graduates attaining employment and nearly 80% retaining their jobs after two years.
