Second Chance is offering MMG's Introduction to Meditation course on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:15 PM. Open to all Second Chance STRIVE & PREP graduates as well as Second Chance housing residents, this course will be taught by Jeff Zlotnik. -- Jeff represents Matrix Mandala Garden (MMG), a non-profit organization founded to promote the practice and awareness of meditation. Jeff also manages the Dharma Bum Center, MMG's urban meditation studio in downtown San Diego. In 2005 Jeff lived with monks in a Zen Monastery for one year, focusing on the practice of meditation. -- MMG provides all classes free and you will learn basic meditation techniques to calm your mind, gain control of your thoughts and create internal peace.
