Mission

To disrupt the cycles of incarceration and poverty by helping people find their way to self-sufficiency.

Second Chance achieves its mission by providing job training, teaching life skills, eliminating educational barriers, and addressing ancillary issues such as behavioral health, housing, transportation and substance abuse.

Vision

Second Chance is the most effective solution for reducing recidivism, unemployment and homelessness; empowering participants to make sustainable personal changes that positively impact society. Specialized programs provide the opportunities and resources necessary to break the cycle of recidivism, promote economic prosperity and build stronger communities.
