Orange is the New Black Season 2: Teens Behind Bars

A Benefit for Second Chance

Join us May 20, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Qualcomm Hall in Sorrento Valley as Second Chance reprises its popular themed event with Orange is the New Black Season 2: Teens Behind Bars.

Teens Behind Bars features a special guest speaker from the award-winning Netflix television series. Also appearing will be motivational speaker Derek Clark, inspiring author of Never Limit Your Life and the critically acclaimed series I Will Never Give Up.

This year Second Chance will present stories about local justice-involved youth and the impactful Second Chance programs that help them overcome neglect, abuse, addiction and other generational barriers to achieving self-sufficiency and avoiding adult prison.

General admission tickets include pre-event dinner in the International Food Court, a photo exhibit by “photographer for social change”                  Michele Zousmer, entertainment and a no-host bar. VIP Reception tickets with a chance to meet our special guests are also available.

If you are unable to attend, we hope you will “Sponsor a Youth” to enjoy this special evening.

Proceeds from the event will enable Second Chance to continue its ongoing work to support youth and adults who are working toward self-sufficiency and a positive future. All money raised at the benefit will help provide stable, year-round funding for development programs for disadvantaged youth, job readiness training, job placement services, sober-living housing and behavioral health treatment.
